Well, the film will be soon remade in Tamil as director K. Balachandar of Kavithalaya Productions as acquired the rights. Sources have revealed that director Selvah of Naan Avanillai fame will direct the film with Sathyaraj and Ganesh Venkataram in lead roles.
Sathyaraj will take on the role of Srinivasan while Ganesh Venkataram does the role of lawyer (performed by Dileep) and female lead is yet to be confirmed. The Malayalam version had Mamta Mohandas performing journalist’s role and wife of Dileep. The Tamil remake has been tentatively titled as ‘Muriyadi’…
