Actress Kushboo Sundar slaughters Sundara Tamizh?

back links Dear Kushboo…. we see her in many TV channels conducting Tamil programs with élan. Hats off to her establishing a strong presence in a state alien to her. She has made impressive efforts to try and manage with a language that is not her mother tongue and has enough confidence to compere a program as important as the Government sponsored film awards function, that too in front of none other than the Tamil stalwart and our chief minister Dr. Kalaignar Karunanidhi. 








She excited the crowd some of whom were not too happy with her pronunciations which went all the way to giving a totally new meaning to “Periyar’s Kollgaigal” which was pronounced as “Periyar’s Kollaigal”. Khushboo begged the crowd to bear with her as this was Tamil she was reading and that too 30 pages of it. 




Kalaignar Karunanidhi took the faux paus in style skilfully bringing humour into the situation. He said that Tamil is a strong language and continues to be so in spite of kushboo. This shows that nothing can really bring down the fame of our language that is deep rooted in our culture.




Hats off again to kushboo for her phenomenal effort and a big Vanakkam to our beloved chief minister for managing the situation. .
